States can decide - until we don't like it

Seventeen Republican attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Friday for letting California set its own vehicle emission standards.

You know, the party that cares about our climate and our babies? Oil guys are panicking that they won't make their money is quarter and so Republicans dance faster.

My state assembly held a closed door meeting several years ago then came out and announced weed was legal .
No vote from the people. Nothing on the ballot .
I’m in NY btw and we are not conservative .

My point was they subverted they democratic process .
At least people in other weed legal states got to vote on it. We didn’t .
But of course only red states pull those kind of shenanigans . Lol

@AthrillatheHunt Red States don't want to legalize because the Sheriff's Office is still confiscating property because of small amounts of pot. Transporting weed, 1 joint and it's legal to confiscate the car. The undercover Cop can sell a joint and then they pull you over and they own your car. Plus a ticket for the joint.

@Pitchblue I don’t think that happens much any more . I may be wrong though .
There’s a lot of space between legal Rec weed and having a small amount count as a felony w property seizure .
Them seizing property for a single J even in Alabama or Florida seems like that would make national news by SOME news outlet .

That sort of thing really doesn’t though. I saw a story not long ago on YouTube about a town in Mississippi that was impounding and confiscating cars over things as small as not having headlights turned on half an hour before sunset. Only a local news station had covered it. @AthrillatheHunt

@AthrillatheHunt I've read that if the government gave military vehicles to a state, town whatever, they have to be used or returned. MMmmmmmmm, I wonder why they went to predominately black populated areas??
