Overturning Roe v Wade does not overturn the right to seek abortions altogether. It just overturns federal policy and delegates the power to the individual states. Most states will probably enact a policy that allows for abortions within the first trimester which is more than fair. There can also be exceptions to policy that allow for special circumstances such as rape and the health of the mother. Nobody is losing rights unless they are just totally ignorant and irresponsible with their body.

@justanothername I can't imagine that there is a great need for abortion in this country and if there is we need to rethink how we are carrying ourselves in society. It's really not that big of a deal.

@MrSmooTh You've greatly underestimated the depth of the problem. If the antiabortion crowd get their way it doesn't just affect the women seeking to end an unwanted pregnancy, it potentially affects any and every woman who is pregnant or may become pregnant.
Have a miscarriage? There's a possibility someone will decide the woman must have done something illegal to end that pregnancy and charge her with murder. Show up at the hospital carrying a dead or dying fetus and hemorrhaging? There's a possibility the dr's wont want to touch you for fear of being accused of performing an abortion. Maybe they wait a day or two before performing a D&C just to be sure, and maybe you bleed to death while they wait, but at least they can't be accused of killing the already dead fetus and they get to keep their license.
I'm old enough to know women whose lives were put at risk by the anti abortion laws that were in place back in the day. As much as I would like to believe people are not quiet as stupid as they were back then I'm afraid that simply isn't the case. Take a look around. Remember the people making the rules aren't the medical professionals but are often religious nut jobs and others who for whatever reason are out of touch with reality.
