How is it possible that 77% of republican voters are still convinced the 2020 election was stolen?

They're not. Conservatives just don't consider truth to be that important. What matters to them is that Trump becomes president again. Whether he lost or won, whether or not it's done democratically, none of that really matters.

@BohemianBoo Not all conservatives. But those with principles who do value truth have been forced to leave the party.
@RedBaron Sure, but those Conservatives make up like 5% of the Right. It would be like saying not every member of the KKK is racist. Like yeah, maybe some of them just really really like the hoods, but we can all agree that at least the vast majority of them are racist.

@BohemianBoo I disagree. While all KKK members are racist, not all conservatives believe the lies and support Trump. Whatever the percentage is that don't, and neither you nor I have the data to quantify it, they aren't anything like the others. I personally know some, including members of my family, who became Democrats after consistently voting Republican for decades.
@RedBaron According to the stats I've seen, about 91% of registered Republicans voted for Trump. The anti-fascist Conservatives are outliers.

@BohemianBoo As I said, many have left the party. That would skew the numbers.
@RedBaron I'd have to see the numbers on that. My guess is that the numbers are exaggerated, but hopefully I'm wrong.

@BohemianBoo Don't obsess about numbers. As the saying goes, "Figures lie and liars figure."
