United Technologies owns Carrier...
The jobs saved were lower paying/high turnover positions.

UT is a large subcontractor with the pentagon...it's a smokescreen

@Distancerunner: I've just checked, veteran workers at carrier earn between 20 and 25 dolars per hour. and the turnover rate is not there as you have stated.

I am going on what CEO was quoted as saying...

The truth is... they are saving jobs in one unit and still sending jobs to Mexico...
This is a company that received 6 billion dollars in defense contracts last year UT..
They are getting 7 million dollars
In tax breaks ... money that would otherwise help the infrastructure of the state...

If you can't respond thoughtfully, then don't...
