What the hell is a Trump themed wedding?
Is that where the groom denies ever saying "i do" after he gets caught with the bridesmaid?

@beckyromero That can't be right... Shouldn't the groom have bone spurs? 🤔🤔

Human beings are frightened animals, and we come by it naturally. We lack fangs, claws, fur, venom....anything other than the intelligence that keeps us alive. We walk upright with heart and genitals exposed. There's a million years of it encoded it our DNA.
Human beings are herd animals. We survive only in highly coordinated groups. This means individually, we're designed to pick up social cues and coordinate and align our behavior with those around us. Research has shown that social disapproval provokes the brain's danger circuits. Followers live; rebels are left to their own survival.
And comes along the next leader. What makes him a leader to the fearful and following? First, he reiterates how grave the danger is, really gets their attention. Then he assigns blame and creates a tangible adversary. Then he tells his followers they're better than "them" but always under constant threat.
Then a good leader provides small luxuries for his followers. Words of praise, special badges or markers. He then tells him they can be safe and exalted but they'll have to listen carefully to him. And by the time he's bleeding them, it feels just like special attention.
How does it all translate? Little high-school "clubs." Stupid catchphrases, moronic merchandise, inside jokes - anything to help them continue the charade. Because if the music at the party falls below a certain sane level, they're liable to sense the real world outside and that has become unacceptable to them because out there people live by their wits and they surrendered their critical thinking at the door.

@Graylight which is why human beings are also vicious and dangerous to all species, including our own.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@DragonBlue Honestly, that's the number one question that haunts me. Makes one wonder if there's not a deadly flaw in our species that merits eradication.

Where's your sources?
The only information I can find about a "Trump themed wedding" is from 2019 when a couple who supported him invited him to their wedding. He was present at it because he accepted.
It seems that your falsely implying something else that occurs with greater frequency though. Isn't that rather disingenuous and...cultish of you? Or are you some sort of Democrat supporting bot?

@SW-User And yet you keep responding.
I should just give up. Talking to you about Trump is like trying to convince a Scientologist that L. Ron Hubbard was a faker.

@Randi1125 It is definitely a cult. What's hilarious is how they assume we deify Joe Biden in the same way they deify Trump. I didn't even want Biden to run. He was my next-to-last choice, only ahead of that psychotically anti-gay cult member Tulsi Gabbard, who has basically migrated to the Republican party anyway. My first choice was Elizabeth Warren. My dream ticket would have been Warren/Buttigieg. I don't agree with Buttigieg everywhere but damn, that guy is smart.
That being said, I'm pleasantly surprised by Biden's performance, but much of that has to do with the people around him. Reagan was senile as fuck but surrounded himself with some very competent (and evil) people. But they knew what they were doing, I'll give them that.

Why would anybody do that ? This is like the people who survived Jonestown, Heaven’s Gate, Rev. Moon, The Branch Dravidians. They and the Trumpsters have one thing in common, all having to eventually answer the question:
”WTF were you thinking ?”
”WTF were you thinking ?”
Randi1125 · 31-35, F
To be honest I have been wondering the same about you 🤷♀️
DragonBlue · 80-89, F
The saddest part of all this is that the pros and cons are all so damn sincere. Personally, I’ve decided that if Trump ever becomes president again, I’m getting rid of the TV. And never looking at another newspaper. And I won’t speak to anybody who even looks like they might be about to talk politics. It all makes me gag.
Randi1125 · 31-35, F
@DragonBlue
It is exhausting. However, the GOP's been infiltrated/radicalized by fanatical religious zealots, and by minority rule, they're displacing secular democracy with theocratic fascism.
No time for apathy.

@Randi1125 I’m not apathetic, but being a Canadian, I don’t get a vote, so I prefer to avoid all the political b.s.
That actually makes me want to throw up. Literally.

@canusernamebemyusername
It's so gross. A lot of these folks can't even fathom that Democrats don't worship Pres Biden the same way they worship Trump. It's why they say things like "Let's go Brandon"/FJB...not realizing that Dems don't actually care because they don't derive their self-identity from Pres Biden.

I gotta hand it to him. all the stuff that has gone on and they don't have a whole lot in the way of smoking guns or even people that are ready to testify against him.
kind of reminds me of capone. all the shennanigans and all they could get him for was tax evasion

Seems like you answered your own question. But what is someone else's wedding to you?

It is def. a religion and cult best describes it.

@Graylight ...yes, and cult followers are in a cult. lol

@Graylight 👍 "I would have taken a bullet for him." Michael Cohen. (Not now though)

@softspokenman It is odd how DJT had somehow emitted zombie rays and turned this adoration on...

And yet when we speak of him, they laugh and accuse us of living in the past.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@CorvusBlackthorne Are you getting that, too? Suddenly we can't discuss the past. But we can live in delusion.
