Now there is a difference. That supposed MI6 file on Trump in a Moscow hotel story was also out there. And also refuted due to lack of evidence at the time. Once the bona fides of this laptop are established, then and only then will it become evidence of wrongdoing. And whether that links back to Biden in a way that will stick in court is another matter. Now adressing your closing comments. The fact that anyone anywhere goes into politics of any colour makes them suspect to me. Politics as a profession is akin to a magic act. Only the politicians take the rabbits out of your hat, then cook and eat them themselves. So they ALL lie, all the time. But people still go to Vegas to see Penn and Teller, who do give you a peek behind the curtain at times. What actually happens in running a country is more like a trick surfing act. The economy of a nation at the time is the wave and the politician surfs it as best he can, pulling what tricks the wave allows. But make no mistake, the economy is in control. Not the politician. The politician can try to look like he is controlling things by messing with interest rates, the money supply or tariffs. But that only unbalances the surfer in the long run and he gets dumped by the wave. So all politicians lie, even with the best intentions. I just prefer my politicians making promises about better education, health care justic and equality then offering me tax cuts so I can afford to upgrade my security and put bars on my windows.,😷
