So it's ok to protest Russia in the UK according to Government but it's a chargeable offence to protest anything else.

I mean it's a bit of a stretch to call this a protest. Not saying it's bad, just like... breaking and entering into a private residence is not a protest. The cops showed up and arrested the intruders anyway, so that's hardly sending the message that it's OK. The mayor plays dumb because he doesn't wanna be all pro-oligarch in public and the intruders kinda have a point. The property should be seized.

@BlueVeins the mayor is sending the message "yes, protest a cause we agree with, that doesn't cause us problems. If you protest something that causes us problems, might mean we have to do something, the you're arrested."
