Why Russia hasent achived its objectives in Ukraine

Thats because its military is thoroughly corrupt Russia is a autocratic kleptocracy corruption is one of the perks Putin allows for loyalty and obedience.

First off the Ukraine armed its citizens. No army can easily win a gorilla warfare war. The advantage will always go to the home team because they know the terrain they know the hiding spots they know ambush points they have the home court advantage and as long as they are armed it will not be easy. Why do you think no country has ever seriously thought about invading the United States. It's because we have over 300 million weapons in the general population it is estimated that $200 million Americans own a weapon as in a gun.

@dale74 that is true, but don't forget a couple of things.
USA is a very big place.
It has a lot of people.
Have a powerfull economy.
Up north Canada is an Ally.
South Mexico is a neutral or willing partner. So, no dangerous bourders.
It has two oceans, one in each coast, that are needed to cross to permit an real invasion.
If you conquer the geography, that is the biggest problem in my eyes, the rest is a numbers game and exaustation matter. It maybe be an impossible numbers game, or a very dificult. It depends on the variables like in Ukraine, it's a numbers game, and Ukraine has the home advantages and people that gives them hardware.

That is a thing only time will tell.
I don't know what the real russians objectives were, and neither know what Russia and the others consider a fail, or victory. For now, I don't see how this could be good for Russia, but maybe it can be, and I'm just missing what is the Putin perspective and plan is.
In what I concieve, this a Putin failure, in some degree. But that is what I concieve with what I get. And many things I don't get, know or imagine.

@anythingoes477 So the "Information Age" is all the information in the world is everywhere, for all the people?
So, when was the "Iron Age" there was iron available for everybody?
And, tell me... Who told you what the Putin legacy is? And how invading Ukraine is part of that?
Was in Putin memoires? In a book, press conference, interview Putin said? Or is an educated guess? Some interpretation of facts, talks, books, interviwes, etc. etc.
You are assuming that a person, an individual can be like math. In math two plus two is 4, so a person when does this is just like 2 plus 2 is four. And there is only failture, or victory.
Yes, I understand the Putin Ukrain and Legacy, but does that mean that he sees it as a complete failure? Does he, in the last month, changed his mind and just went for the best he could in the general way things are? Is he playing some deeper play? Or did he made a stupid mistake? Well, all the people that I've read and heard about Putin says he a great chess and strategy mind, wouldn't make a stupid mistake, but would make some possible miscalculations. So... what is it them? Does Google have, and not "AN" answer, but "THE" answer? "An" asnwer I can get everywhere but "The" answer, the real confirmation and thoughts of what Putin sees and thinks of this I can't, for eternity, never know if he doesn't tell. I can only speculate with a bigger, or lesser, degree of certaintty. Like a statistical prediction. And we know how great those models work when unexpected things happen... They don't. They work with a margin of error when things have a linear evolution, not when "mistery" things happen.
So, if you can give THE answer. Tell me then. If you can give AN answer, shut up because, for those, I already have seen plenty, from everywhere and everyone, going to any place, and many more to be seen.
@Alfarrobas You are making zero sense. You say information is not available for all................but you are using some object to be on SW.....and that same object..phone..laptop..whatever...can contact the internet to use Google. If you can get onto SW....you can use GOOGLE. By being online to be here to comment at all.....you negate your own argument. My guess........ur just too lazy to look.

And you are attempting to refuse all I say about Putin...while at the same time saying you never pay attention to news to know what is going on. So you are in a gunfight.....but have no gun. How do you tell me I am mistaken on what I am saying when you absolutely admit you have no basis in fact to support your argument.....ANY argument......since you refuse to be made aware of current events or even background information on what you want me to tell you about??

This is a waste of time. Turn on a TV....read a book.

@anythingoes477 you all information is acessible on Google. Thats stupid.
You either believe that Google is some kind of omnipresente, all mighty thing that knows and gold everything, even whats on peoples head.
You either think that there is só few information out there, or Google is a God itself.

What have you Said about Putin? Nothing. Nothing at all.
Or you mean this "but why don't you just ask Goggle what Putins goals for his legacy is and how invading Ukraine was part of that???".
Really deep. Really insightfull.

Where did i Said you are wrong?
For you to be wrong you would need to say something of worth to be wrong. In that way you arent wrong, because you Said nothing of worth.

Where have i Said i dont see the news? Or that i dont see or hear or read a thing?
Oh, wait. Can you read well? Maybe thats the problem. You must see half of it, and the half you are, you see the way you wanna see.

The rest of the things i could say, would repeating myself. Just a matter of reading the post.
And Im still waiting for you to have a contribution for the topic of what Putin wants, wishes, does, thinks, doesnt think and doesnt do. It would really insightfull and helpfull. But, wait. Google? Yes, i know. Google, the all mighty God that knows anything and everything. No secrets, Google knows everything.

Google knows nothing. Google doesnt have knowledge in the abstract and in the information management and, i might risk, phylosophic concept. But hás a huge, Titanic amounts of data and information. But not everything that exists.

No problem. Be happy.
But if you want to help, Share what you know, dont say "Google" like you are the smartest person in the world.
Social media means everyone gets the heads up hours before hand. Give ya time to get ready these days 🤷‍♂️

Not to mention old, outdated equipment, and undertrained troops.
