Well, it is interesting. I seem to be hearing simultaneously "Biden is weak because he won't send in the troops!" and also "Putin is right to be fighting the liberal globalist Zelensky!"
So which is it?
I don't think most conservatives are defending Putin, but the only people I do see defending Putin are conservatives. Putin is far-right after all and Zelensky is very much a globalist and a progressive.

@SW-User How about Zelensky is a patriot and Putin is a tyrant and dictator?
Calling a KGB agent from the former Soviet Union "far-right" is turning language inside out.

@LamontCranston Putin's love for the Soviet Union is in its former regional power and authoritarianism. He is no socialist or progressive.

@SW-User It seems to me Putin's love is mostly reserved for love of himself... only.

@SW-User I don't want to get int semantics with you. You must obviously think "socialist" and "progressive" are positive descriptors. I don't. I think "capitalist" and "limited constitutional government" are positive descriptors.
Was Stalin a "progressive"-he only murdered 20,000,000 citizens.
Forget the silly labels. Putin is what I said, a tyrant and dictator and must be neutered by the world.
