The bottom line as to why we are not helping Ukraine is: The U.S. and NATO are cowards and are afraid to face Russia.

and we are behind russia in this tech. by years.
@markansas More like Georgia in 2008. Break stuff, make Ukraine a no go zone to NATO and after proving a point go home.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow not sure once someone takes something ect.
ukraine is the breadbasket needed for russia . it was part of russia before the wall fell in berlin.

only time will tell and i dont think we have to wait that long to find out.
@markansas There is a big big difference though. Russia only has access to about 180k soldiers.

Back when Ukraine was part of the USSR the airborne division alone was bigger than that.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow time will tell and the ones suffering will be the worker class . rebuilding the powerplants the cities ect . i feel for them and yet i myself can do nothing but watch. kinda sad to see. i hope it does not bring back the cold war or even worse . this is what they are going threw now.

@markansas Sadly this is the cost of every war in history. But Russia simply doesn't have the numbers. Ukraine has a similar population to Iraq and the US has 10k more troops to occupy with and still failed after 15 years trying. It just isn't an option. It also doesn't fit with their most recent military operations.
