More or less. There's more nuance than that. Consider this. If the state/governments just disappeared humans/society would work it out. In the long run I believe a much more equitable and local focused society would emerge.

This is ignoring the fact the humans have been around wayyy longer than "democracy". Maybe it's democracy that's the interloper not the genesis?
