Now 1936. That was a GREAT Democratic election year. As Maine went, so went Vermont. The only two states to buck FDR's landslide. 2036 would be the 100th anniversary.

Naturally, someone will criticize me and say 51 is either too old or two young to be elected president. But I'll reminder everyone that FDR was 50.

Let's just say I'm studying redistricting closely right now. Darin LaHood is nothing like his dad and, while he'll win reelection in 2022 in a largely new district, it's far less partisan than his old one and he'll be ripe for the pickings in 2024 when Biden trounces Trump - again.
