@CountScrofula I personally have more respect for people who just say it flat out.

@CountScrofula Even politicians have started saying 'Let's go Brandon' in speeches. They then look guilty/proud for being so edgy.

'Whooah, I just did a coded swear to insult a President I don't like. OMG, I am such an awesome bad-ass.'

@CountScrofula based on this circle jerk thread I'd say at the very least it works. When you get a lot of inflated egos in one place exchanging snarky comments about some group you know you found the enlightened political experts

@SW-User Origins are that people were widely chanting "Fuck Joe Biden" at sporting events. Some NASCAR driver named Brandon was being interviewed and someone asked what was being chanted so the reporter said "let's go Brandon".

So it's been a code for Fuck Joe Biden that people chant so they can get away with saying something naughty without swearing. Like middle schoolers do.

As someone who is not a liberal and hates both major political parties, I think this is really stupid.

Also let's be clear, I posted one thing and a bunch of people replied. It's also -extremely- silly behaviour. It's hard to not put yourself above it.
