Something fishy is going on with Jill Stein's recount.

This week, Stein has called for a recount of the votes in PA, WI, and MI. She states as her reason for starting this initiative that there is reason to believe that the voting machines may have been vulnerable to being hacked. This doesn't make any sense to me, as MI uses entirely paper ballots.

There's also a more concerning issue: over the past year and a half, she and the Green party raised a total of $3.5M for her campaign. Now, in only a few days, she has received over $4.6M in donations for a recount with a premise that doesn't make sense after a landslide Trump victory. She stated during her campaign that she didn't support Clinton and she obviously has no chance of winning herself.

What is going one here? I understand that Stein is almost certainly doing this in an attempt to have Clinton steal the elction, if she expects any results at all. Is this just an attempt to further divide the different political camps for this election? It stinks of George Soros.

It does actually make sense. Maybe she doesn't support Clinton, but finds Trump to be even worse. In several key states, Clinton's margin of defeat was rather small, around 1% or so. If it had been just a little different she'd have won those states instead. And also, even though MI uses paper ballots, they probably have machines that counts them.
