Something fishy is going on with Jill Stein's recount.

This week, Stein has called for a recount of the votes in PA, WI, and MI. She states as her reason for starting this initiative that there is reason to believe that the voting machines may have been vulnerable to being hacked. This doesn't make any sense to me, as MI uses entirely paper ballots.

There's also a more concerning issue: over the past year and a half, she and the Green party raised a total of $3.5M for her campaign. Now, in only a few days, she has received over $4.6M in donations for a recount with a premise that doesn't make sense after a landslide Trump victory. She stated during her campaign that she didn't support Clinton and she obviously has no chance of winning herself.

What is going one here? I understand that Stein is almost certainly doing this in an attempt to have Clinton steal the elction, if she expects any results at all. Is this just an attempt to further divide the different political camps for this election? It stinks of George Soros.

Why are you worried if you think this wont harm Trump's presidency? Why are you worried if people exercise their constitutional rights actually?

If she can't raise $4M in 18 months, how the hell does she do it in a few days post-election? And why would she waste the money on something that obviously makes no sense in MI? It's just very strange.

@Invisible: Bc Hilary supporters also donated (who are much more in number than jill stein supporters)? This isn't rocket science

I don't think you understand how ridiculous it is to get more than a million dollars a day in (allegedly) small donations.

It's ridiculous and since a recount is not going to happen, where's the money going to go?

@MrMagic: Probably her pockets. She was committing misdemeanors before the election. She is a real idiot.
offingg · 26-30, F
@MrMagic: The money is for the recount. You do realize if a candidate orders a recount and still doesnt win she will need to pay?

@MasterLee: Why are you so obsessed with commenting under my comments? Thought you were looking out to improve your quality of life but I guess that's not happening bc you don't have one and you're a leech.
Invisible · 26-30, M
@offingg: We're all just trying to discuss what's going on. If you don't like that, you don't have to comment here. It's not a personal attack.
offingg · 26-30, F
@Invisible: Huh? You don't know what's going on betwee me and masterlee so mind your own business and go back to where we were discussing what's going on bc cleary that reply wasn't to you.
Invisible · 26-30, M
@offingg: Well, obviously MasterLee's comment wasn't directed at you either, so why don't you stop being hypocritical and relax?
offingg · 26-30, F
@Invisible: You really have no idea what's going on, just go back to discussing Jill Stein and mind your own business.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Invisible: she just keeps commenting hoping I respond to her. She already broke her promise of not replying.

Respecting presidents is part of constitutional rights? It's the other way around, presidents must respect the constitution AND people are free to call for a recount or protest. @satanburger:

@satanburger: she only demands respect for presidents who share her childish ideology. We must respect the office but we don't have to respect the man if we choose not to. She always twists what you say into something obscure.
