what the hell is Lara Logan doing on Fox news? She used to be a legit reporter and journalist. What happened to her, to change like that?

@independentone Fox News is nothing to me and its politics are those of a foreign country so not my affair; so here's a politically neutral observation:

The quote is of her saying what [i]others[/i] have said to her.

I have no idea if she agrees with the simile or rejects it, because those of us who have not seen the original broadcast in full, are not told what else she said about it.

Always be careful of quoted quotes - look at what is said, and think what else might or might not have been said.

I find the simile deeply revolting, but the OP's quote does not accuse Logan or Fox News of making it, nor give their view of it.

There is another point.

If Logan had collected the remarks from "social media" (social? really?) sites they could be from several other countries. We cannot know that - nor how many of the posts she read could be from one source using multiple false accounts.

If you receive a dodgy e-mail you can assess its source and nature (my service calls it the "View source" tool) but I don't think that works with web-site posts, at least not for ordinary users without the requisite forensic software.
