It is not murder if you are found not guilty.
@southbeachguy my accepting that would depend on my having faith in our justice system and yet I have none and feel it could have gotten it wrong and that that is fully posssible as it does these things often.

How many times has it secured wrongful convictions already? How is it people like you still trust it's judgement? mine in it's judgement is gone. I have none. I want to vote no confidence on it. the way our systems work sometmes people are wrongfully convicted and sometimes people get away with murder. Why you feel so sure of it just because he wasn't found guilty is beyond me. I have no confidence in our courts and I find it very strange that anyone still does. it's clear you believe in what they're doing and that it produces justice. I don't believe that- not anymore. were it possible to refuse to surrender taxation to keep funding an unjust system I would do so and completely defund the courts because I don't believe in what they're doing. Mind you I do think we need a system of justice but I think the one we have needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. what we have now is just a barrier to doing so, it should be burnt down so we CAN start over.
@southbeachguy Yep, OJ is innocent too.

Which of the 3 threatening thugs are you saying he should have been convicted of not having a self defense claim? Please in detail tell me which one you are making your case for? No generic he should not have been with an open carry? @BetweenKittensandRiots

@independentone OJ was a jury nullification in a city that was going through incredible racial hostility. Those jurors chose to use the gloves dont fit you must acquit to make a political payback message. No one says every not guilty or guilty verdict is correct. I am asking for your reasons that this verdict was not correct.
@southbeachguy Not saying it wasn't self defense on Rittenhouse's side, but since he put himself in that situation, intentionally by going across state lines, wanting to play Rambo and looking for trouble, how can he actually claim self defense. The kid was looking to shoot people and succeeded in doing just that.

You contradict yourself. It is not going across state lines if you have a father living there and a job in Kenosha, and the gun is stored there. By the way seriously the state line argument is horrible law to begin with. For the love of god does it matter if he drive 30 minutes to Kenosha or an hour to Chicago to do whatever he did?@independentone
@southbeachguy Why did he go there in the first place? If he went looking for trouble, he can hardly claim self defense when he finds it.
Sorry, I just don't see that sniveling little crybaby as a hero.
