Seriously, ... What's Wrong With Democrats? Who Thinks This Way?

Democrat Says Wisconsin Christmas Parade Massacre Is 'Karma' for the Acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse

A Sunday Christmas parade turned tragic in Waukesha, Wisconsin, when an SUV plowed into a crowd of people. According to one Illinois Democrat, the tragedy was due to a court decision she did not agree with.

Mary Lemanski, who serves as the social media director for the Democratic Party in DeuPage County, Illinois, mocked the tragedy and connected it to the not-guilty verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial on Friday.

“It was probably just self-defense,” Lemanski said in a since deleted tweet about the tragedy. She also added the hashtag “#KyleRittenhouse” to make it clear that her disgusting comment was a commentary on Friday’s verdict.

If Lemanski is trying to use this horrible event to get some cheap laughs, it is completely reprehensible. If she is actually trying to compare the suspect to Rittenhouse, she utterly failed to the make connection.

How are democrats raised to think, feel and speak this way about other human beings?

Wasnt it you using "satire" just yesterday, regarding the death of the two people killed by rittenhouse?
Yes. It was you.

I find the words of this person to be reprehensible. I find the things you find humorous to be reprehensible as well.

@Carla
Wasnt it you using "satire" just yesterday, regarding the death of the two people killed by rittenhouse?
No, not exactly. Yes, there was satire, 'complaining' that it's no longer safe to beat people to death with a skate board. No, it had nothing to do with anyone killed in the Kenosha riots.

I also included a statement at the end of the post stating clearly that this wasn't a real story.

This is sarcasm not a real story. The intent is to mock those enraged by justice being served in the Rittenhouse case.

What Lemanski wrote was grossly serious and disgusting.
So much so that they canned her ass earlier today.

@Budwick as they should have.
I still find the things you find funny to be reprehensible. This isnt the first time I've stated this.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Carla
I still find the things you find funny to be reprehensible.
Who said I found that funny?
Satire isn't exclusively humorous.
Sometimes satire will simply hold up vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings to ridicule.

And why would I give a rats ass about how many times you are unhappy with what I post?
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick so dont explain yourself if you dont care.
You've chastised me for being too uptight to find your crap funny.
So, you do care. Aww...
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Carla
so dont explain yourself if you dont care
How else will you learn if I don't teach you?
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick oh bud...you've taught me many lessons.
I've formed much of my opinion and contempt for far right, old tea party members on your beliefs.
Thank you for opening my eyes.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Carla
I've formed much of my opinion and contempt for far right, old tea party members on your beliefs.
Unfortunate but predictable that a leftist would find truth, justice, and simple American principles abhorrent.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick truth, justice and American principles?
I do indeed, believe in truth and justice. Please explain what American principles I dont stand for.
And you need to reexamine what you believe to be leftist. Because I'm not that.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Carla Or, maybe you need to review what YOU think far right, old tea party members beliefs are.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick it isn't what you purported to believe, it is what you actually believe.

Let me ask you this...
Do you vote for those that reflect your values?
Like family values, fiscal responsibility, taking responsibility for ones actions and words, honesty, good character, integrity?
or were those just empty words used to make you feel superior?
I suspect they were as you and the rest of the cult gave them up in a split second, as soon as you felt you were owning the libs.
You didnt explain what american principles I reject. I doubt you will.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Carla
it isn't what you purported to believe, it is what you actually believe.
They are one and the same.
Do you vote for those that reflect your values?
Yes, of course.
BTW - Jesus Christ has never run for office.
There's always trade offs.

Like when you voted for Biden, you took into account that he wasn't Trump - the primary standard. You were able to justify holding your nose over obvious corruption, anti-American values, and whether your candidate as actually alive.
american principles you reject.
Formulating policies that are in the best interest of America.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Budwick please explain bidens anti American values.
And I havent seen any policies that Biden has introduced that arent good for the country.
Infrastructure being just one.
And you talk of corruption all while knowing your guy was/is seeping corruption out of his pores.
Yes. Biden is old. Too old. Trump will he bidens age in 2024. He is too old too.
But, in less than a year, Biden got us out of Afghanistan and an infrastructure bill passed, signed and got a good many people vaccinated with the very vaccine trump takes credit for(while constantly fighting the anti vax spewing Republicans that have mostly been vaccinated🙄)
All very good for america.
Jobs are up, the stock market is up(which as it was not trumps doing it isnt bidens...but it is) Biden is doing the absolute only thing he can to lower gas prices.
And, you still have your God, your guns and your health insurance.

It is probably best to not take Budwick or any of his clones too seriously, but you bring up a good point on the strange lack of anything funny in his remark. The complete lack of humor from the right is interesting…@Carla

Ditch citizens in a dangerous foreign country with no hope of rescue.
Purposely weaken the American economy.
Promise to bankrupt certain American industries.
Mandating behavior of people beyond the scope of his authority.
Passing off fantasies as real - 'this multi-trillion dollar bill costs nothing!'
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Budwick yeah but apparently our “assumptions” are right on. 😊.
I do find the lack of humor on the right interesting. There are just no great right wing comedians for example. Or even mediocre ones🤷‍♂️.

And no one believes you didn’t chortle over the skateboard comment.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@monte3
There are just no great right wing comedians for example.
You'll never see them on the left wing late night shows. They don't even do comedy anymore.

But, there ARE right wing comedians. Look at all the material the left provides! Comedy bits practically write themselves! Watch Gutfeld!
