@Dainbramadge Because in the US, it's against the law to purchase a firearm legally and to walk down the street brandishing it as a minor and to shoot people, both armed and unarmed, because you think things feel hinkey.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Graylight It's not illegal to carry a rifle in plain view in public where I live.
It's not brandishing unless you are doing it in a threatening manner.
Show me where he did that.
You can shoot people when you feel your life is in danger. The first guy threatened to kill him or his friends if he caught them alone.
The first guy tried to grab the gun away from the fleeing Kyle.
He more than felt things were "Hinkey" when the second guy hit him in the head with the skateboard. He also felt that with the third guy when he pointed his gun at him.

@Graylight I don’t think the jury will agree w you because they have been instructed in the law .
Graylight · 51-55, F
@AthrillatheHunt These are the charges:
First-degree reckless homicide against Joseph Rosenbaum, punishable by imprisonment of up to 65 years.
First-degree recklessly endangering safety against Richard McGinnis (a reporter who interviewed Rittenhouse before the shooting), punishable by imprisonment for up to 17 years.
First-degree intentional homicide against Anthony Huber, punishable by a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Attempted first-degree intentional homicide against Gaige Grosskreutz, punishable by imprisonment of up to 65 years.
First-degree recklessly endangering safety against an unknown male victim, punishable by imprisonment of up to 17 years.
Possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 (the only misdemeanor charge, the others are felonies).
Weapon charges

Each felony charge comes with a "use of a dangerous weapon" modifier, which invokes a Wisconsin law that prescribes an addition of no more than five years of imprisonment for each of the charges if found guilty.

Sounds to me like the state found plenty wrong with Rittenhouse's actions. He'll probably plead to lesser charges, but nowhere in that lists did "patriot" or "self defense" appear.

@Graylight the prosecutor bumbled the case from the jump.
He’s not gunna be found guilty .
Graylight · 51-55, F
@AthrillatheHunt Well, that may be well true. I haven't seen more that a bit of testimony, so it's discouraging to hear it's going badly. I thought Florida was the only state where we let high-profile killers walk free.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Graylight Florida’s stand your ground law allows you to kill if you “feel “ threatened .
I am not in favor of laws based on feelings .
Trans bathroom laws are also based on feelings .
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@AthrillatheHunt So then you are against hate crimes too then right??
Those are based on feelings.
So how do you judge a threat? After the threat attacks you???
Do you feel threatened by a mountain lion???
I'm sure if you ran into one of those you would feel threatened and want to shoot it.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Graylight Really? You're uninformed on this case, but still feel compelled to give your opinion on it? 😆👍

Typical.

@SumKindaMunster And still another who has not seen the video's....
