Also, to all the knuckleheads going on about how we all need to get vaccinated to protect others...

NEWS FLASH! Getting vaccinated for Covid 19 does NOT prevent you from getting Covid 19, nor from spreading it to others. I cannot believe that people still promote that lie. Enough already.

At best it prevents you from getting a serious case of Covid, and even that is in question these days....

@SumKindaMunster And it does significantly REDUCE both infection and transmission. No vaccine is 100% effective in preventing, but let's not sneeze at the significant reductions.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@dancingtongue Significantly? What does that mean exactly? I am seeing a 1 in 2 to a 1 in 3 chance of getting Covid 19 even after being "fully vaccinated".

If what you claim is true, why do rates continue to climb even as more and more of the population gets vaccinated? Should it not be in reverse? Many highly vaxxed countries have been dealing with Covid 19 waves well after the majority of the vulnerable population is vaccinated.

@SumKindaMunster And the rates of cases and hospitalizations are mostly be driven by unvaccinated people.

@dancingtongue That's not an answer to the questions I asked. And sorry, no, that's not true any longer. Fully vaxxed are almost at the same levels as unvaccinated as far as getting infected.

I've already acknowledged the vaccine has been effective at preventing serious illness and hospitalization.

@SumKindaMunster If the vax doesn't do you harm it will do you no good. Kind of sad that people have been sold the lie.
