I read up on what Trump recently said to gain context which was in reference to progressives in the Democrat party. Makes sense he'd say that, he made it about Israel but all he's really doing is smearing progressives. He's drumming up support for the far right by placing in people's minds that progressives are anti Semitic and hate Israel when that's not progressive's points at all but he wants people to think that.

The funniest part of all this, is that the far right has been by and large the most anti Semitic group out there. There's various far right groups who are also pro Israel but have ousted their group's leaders for having Jewish girlfriends. They are only pro Israel because their govt is right winged so it's a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and very little else.
Kind of how far right leaners hate Islam but praised the Taliban takeover, certain elements of each religion are specifically far right (not all parts of religion but specifically traditionalist elements are.) So even though they all hate each other, they all have things in common like aversion to the LGBT community, women, progressives and all facets of leftism and other ideological values.

This was a Trump anti-semitic non-sequitur on the Ari Hoffman show a couple of weeks.
Hoffman tried running for the Seattle City council, but was defeated so badly, he decided instead to be a nuisance on 570 KVI, a Seattle conservative radio station.
Hoffman was caught by surprise, but did not know how to respond, other than nodding through Trump's anti-semitic non-sequitur. This was classic Trump catering to conservative Jewish votes and attempting to scare off those in the center with talk of how anti-Israeli activists took over the Democrat party.

@BlueMetalChick Trump does not give a shit. It's all about the politics. US Evangelicals, not Israel, control the GOP. Without them, the GOP would have no seats in Congress and the price they pay is supporting right wing Israeli politicians, who push for expelling Palestinians from the West Bank, in preparation for Armageddon.
