Do most Republicans ONLY want Trump back, and no one else?

Sure seems that way. I am not a Republican, but surely they can think of a better candidate for 2024.

I'm a republican (well actually a conservative) I liked a lot of Trump's policies but couldn't stand him personally. Never quite understood his need to insult people and use foul language and I wished someone would have taken his cellphone away from him for his entire term. With that being said I also got pretty sick of the democrats attempts to rule by impeachment. Quite honestly I am totally fed up with government and the attitudes of the American people and at this point I just hope i die before the country collapses completely.

@istillhaveanameitsrick You'd better keep voting Republican for your own health then...

@istillhaveanameitsrick I should add your "rule by impeachment" comment was brilliant. I hadn't heard it phrased that way...but that is EXACTLY what was happening. In fact, it's still happening. At first, I was confused as to why Nancy and her criminal cohorts were still trying to impeach Trump during the Biden presidency. But I shouldn't have been confused, as it makes perfect sense. They expect him to run again in 2024. So this "impeachment" is motivated by trying to keep Socialists in power. It makes sense now. It's a shitty thing to do and should be illegal. But at least I can understand the motivation behind it. And I hope all the Democrats get voted out faster than Trump can get re-elected in 2024.
@mikeylyksit I will keep voting republican but it doesn't matter, i'm old and my opinion doesn't really matter anymore
@mikeylyksit Well, in all honesty the republicans did start it when they impeached Clinton because he "lied under oath" (like a politician lying is something new). I think all of the politicians need to take a course on the Constitution. I'm tired of the impeachment crap and the presidents over-using the executive order power.

@istillhaveanameitsrick Crazy idea, just tossing it out there. I'm as old as you are (in real life, that is) I've briefly thought of running for President. Main thing stopping me is that I'm pretty close to early retirement. Looking to de-stress. And being President would be (extremely stressful under any circumstance)
You though of running for President? Or maybe just HOR or Senate? Or some kind of state government position? The country is more than primed to elect conservatives who ACT conservative. Just look at some of the recent election results...
@mikeylyksit I did try to run for my states House of Representatives as an independent but I never even got onto the ballot. I did run an online campaign for President as a write-in candidate...I think I got three votes, me, my wife and my mother LOL

@istillhaveanameitsrick A few years ago, I was commenting to my buddies....
I predict that going forward, there will never be a President (democrat or republican) who is not subject to some kind of impeachment proceeding...whether that succeeds or not. Impeachment used to be a safety procedure. Now it is a political tool. If you are democrat, you find a way to impeach the republican. If you are republican, you find a way to impeach the democrat.

@istillhaveanameitsrick Well, I give you credit for at least trying to fight the good fight. That's more than I have done.
@mikeylyksit I would have lost but i was really just trying to get on the ballot and maybe get enough votes to draw attention to how angry the american people are getting. Sadly i am an over-the-road truck driver so i didn't have much time to gather signatures to get on the ballot and my "campaign committee"...sucked. In two weekends i got almost 300 signatures, in two months my "campaign committee" got 12 LOL

@istillhaveanameitsrick OTR is the toughest job in the universe. I pulled open deck for four years myself. Mostly over-sized farm equipment all over US and Canada. But I couldn't handle the stress, so I went back to IT. (you might not get that joke, but there are systems admins all over the world ROFLMAO right now) Anyway, mad respect for thinking you could do OTR and run a campaign of any kind...
