A recent Pew Research poll found that 63% of Republicans said their party shouldn't tolerate criticism of Trump from elected officials

Compared with 43% of Democrats who say the same.

I'm sorry, but if a majority do not tolerate criticism of the Leader, they are a cult.

Which means the Republican Party is now a cult! Fact!

Either figure is shameful. It's a matter of degree.

@Mamapolo2016 I agree. Both numbers are terrible.
@JoeyFoxx They'll have to change the Oath of Office into a responsive reading.
The incoming President
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
The populace
And we, in response, do solemnly swear we shall never allow doubt or questions to besmirch the Royal Robes of the Presidency. Mr. (or Ms.) President, we will follow you, our duly elected leader, down any murky dark path you choose.
@Mamapolo2016 Only if it's a Republican.
@SW-User I gather you were part of the survey?

I don’t think so. I have been verbally attacked by people when I dare to challenge the leadership skills of President Obama and have been accused of being a white elitist.

I’ve also had people recoil in horror when I found some things that Trump did that were good for the country.

And when I suggest that Biden is only marginally more effective than Trump, everyone gets pissed off.

There is a lot of banner waving on both sides of the political spectrum.
