Do conservatives have to live with human rights that they don't like?

If conservatives resent my right to something, Can they make it go away and not my right, anymore?
Do they have the ability to cancel government responsibilities to protect the rights they don't like?

Okay define the human rights
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@nedkelly no. Most people already have a definition. There's a list of rights all governments have to guarantee called the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights that is a list most people agree upon. Guns aren't in it.

@Stopmakingsense OMG! The UN has no jurisdiction, or is taken seriously by anyone with any sense.

All it is is a club for the most vile people in the world.

@Slade okay. Who has listed the human rights nations agreed to? Who does have credibility there? Better than the UN?
Slade · 56-60, M
@Stopmakingsense Um the Constitutuon and the Bill of Rights.

Hate to inject reality into your play world but there are no universal rights that have any jurisdiction or legitimacy.

See we think countries (and states) should govern themselves. Not murderous 3rd world dictators

@Slade Murderous 3rd world dictators technically don't want health care for people nor basic rights. Wanting human rights isn't typically a dictator thing.
Slade · 56-60, M
@SatanBurger That's who makes up the UN. Especially their ironically named Human Rights Council
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Slade So the UN doesn't want free healthcare for people?
Slade · 56-60, M
@SatanBurger I Don't know or care what they want. They are irrelevant. And virtually always anti Americam
