Did you ever notice that we'd have a less corrupt and more representative government if we chose people for offices randomly, like on a jury?

No.

I think the real problem is the corrosive effect of money.

It's a major reason why we have an UNrepresentative "House of Representatives".

Fixing money in politics will fix many things.

And if they were paid the same as those on the dole..

Sad but true.
