Would it be wrong to have a worldwide riot against conservative governments?
OggggO · 36-40, M

PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
American Conservatives want to do the same thing by cutting welfare.
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@burnley] i should of guessed this was sarcasm as tory and compasion to the needy and sick is non existent. all they care about is money and people who make it . a sort of typical tory thinking
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@smiler2012 You could have guessed it because it came from me. No way I'm gonna praise the Tory party without sarcasm. 😜
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
I can't believe that twat Johnson is still going to be PM in 8yrs time.

20yrs of uninterrupted Tory rule ! (Thank fuck I'm over here and not over there.)
smiler2012 · 56-60
@RodionRomanovitch yes it will surpass the eighteen years of misery we had under the tories from nineteen seventy nine to nineteen ninety seven.the eleven years of thatcher 😠
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch Yeah. Starmer is terrible. Like really really bad. Most people don't realise quite how bad he is yet.

He's the combination of Miliband's charisma, Corbyn's strategic dexterity and Blair's socialist principles. Unfortunately, he's succeeding in destroying the Labour left but has almost zero chance of winning power.

Tbh I'm struggling to even care because I can't see what they would do differently to a Johnson govt!
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 I tried to watch his speech to conference but had to turn it off almost immediately after his attempted zinger comparing levelling up and not being able to fill up. It was too painful to watch.

I also watched some of Johnson's and that was just weird. He just ran through it at 100mph , non-stop one-liners. And they absolutely lapped it up.

I couldn't tell you which of the two I found to be more embarrassing tbh.

Unlike Budwick and his Buddites, your political posts have something respectable to them.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@TeenAngel Thanks, LOL.

I appreciate it that occasionally the 'non-political' people on here do read my stuff.
Seems to be the global approach of the right.
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@burnley123] even though there wicked queen is no more .the spirit of thatcher is still around in tory policies and ideology
smiler2012 · 56-60
@Burnley123 yes ironically until the labour party get a good leader and policeis and ideas the appeal right across the political spectrum we are stuck with that bumbling mophead and his cronies
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@smiler2012 Corbyn's personal flaws mattered much less to me than the direction of travel. Now we have the worst of both worlds.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Burnley123 Don't know why that is funny. It's sad but true.
DarkMoon · 22-25, M
I watched the former minister Edwina Currie having to have it explained to her that 40% of claiments are already in employment.
And their own minister of state didn't seem to know if you take extra hours to make up the £20, your welfare will be cut for working too many hours.
Are the right wilfully ignorant or do they just hope most people don't care because it won't affect them?
@DarkMoon "Let them eat cake" is the attitude... most likely cake they nabbed at the food bank...
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@DarkMoon They try and spin it by claiming welfare recipients are workshy when (as you say) many of them in this country are actually in low-paid work. It's their go-to frame of reference to call people scroungers but its not reality.

I think I saw the same thing, in which Gray Neville completely took her to task. He did very well.

Here is Britain's opposition leader (Marcus Rashford) explaining the impact this has.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
Yeah, I am dreading next month 😞
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Starsandfire My sympathies are with you. I've been out of work recently but luckily just got a new job.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@Burnley123 I'll be returning as soon when my kids are a bit bigger. Husband works full time but it just isn't enough and our eldest has additional needs as well. It's difficult!
We should be grateful to have any help at all... give them half a chance and they'll strip that away, too.

Unfortunately, begging is already illegal as well.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
There money has not been cut it was only temporary and it lasted longer then they said , so why people saying it’s been cut
Just like conservatives in the U.S. Definitely a shared mindset.
