Can Dems and Republicans form a truce?

@Oberon1 Ew. The republicans so quickly became evil, stupid, lying traitors under Trump that we should suspect this is the core nature of the party and its followers. I hope for some improvement once the whole Trump family is forever out of the picture.

@Oberon1 You're mistaken. There's a video of Trump declaring "We're going to walk to the capitol in strength and take back our country." When questioned about the unpatriotic attack Trump smugly said "This is what happens when the election is stolen from me." He wanted to justify what happened and to show that he doesn't care how many people get hurt.

@Oberon1 Ah, I see you didn't actually read that. It says he didn't involve himself in organized planning of an attack, not that he didn't encourage it then and there in his speech. It doubly doesn't support your claims of it being "timely and convenient" for Democrats.
