I'd prefer if the "Commander in Chief" hadn't left all the military goodies and information that the butchers could ever need to continue their murderous work with impunity. You ok with that utter betrayal?

Who do you think has been doing the job in Afghanistan all these years, and with what equipment? Certainly not us, with our skeleton staff.
We had neither the legal authority, nor the personnel to compensate ANA’s equipment. It is the property of the Afghan people. And we wouldn’t have done it in any case, because ANA remaining in place was always our escape plan.
@WalterF You know what's funny, they could shut down your car with things like Onstar or iPhones or stuff like that, but it's not practical to do it to our Military Hardware. Doesn't make sense, does it.
@dakotaviper If we were on site to decommission things, there are simpler and more reliable ways. If you’re asking for a remote sort of deal, not only will someone use this against us, but countries will stop buying our equipment.
We were never going to take away ANA’s weapons and equipment. Not only would that look counterproductive at the time when you’re still hoping they’ll stay on the job for a while, but we never had the personnel or the legal authority. That stuff wasn’t ours to take away.

You think we did not destroy our own equipment and the facilities we built for our own use? Think again.
@DDonde I don't think I implied that he was... But as a member of the western block populations, I like to be able to look up to and respect the leader of the USA. No longer possible
