My garbage men said they are telling the garbage company in Corolla (Outer Banks), NC that I will be down there for a week. Can I sue?

They said they will tell them my vehicle description, and they told them to try and run my stuff over and bother us on vacation. Can I sue? Keep in mind, it’s a rental home that we will be at, so if they do anything, it’s their fault
