Has politics become your religion?

While I follow political news, more and more it seems some people on the left and right treat politics as a quasi-religious crusade.

You make a good point. I really do believe that politics have become a religion. People on both sides consistently ignore facts and are willing to do terrible things if it promotes their side. Pretty scary what we are headed for.
