Um Bin laden wasn't a Taliban member tho. That was Al Qaeda.
Do you even speak terrorism?

@HijabaDabbaDoo The Taliban gave Al Qaeda, including Osama Bin Laden cover. What more needs to be said?
@MarkPaul The Taliban like Al Qaeda have fragmented over the years into a variety of regional movements that either have little connection to each other, are allies or actually rivals much like the Pakistani pushtun region and the Afghan pashtun regions. To address the Taliban as a uniform organisation and to mix them in with Al Qaeda makes no sense. Similarly, to link them with 9/11 makes even less sense. It's like saying Bush and Blair represent the same country because they both provided one another with cover.

@HijabaDabbaDoo Except that's not what I am saying. But, to say Bush and Blair didn't represent a shared ideology is foolish, wrong, and misguided... because they did and still do based on recent interviews both have given, separately.

Today, the Taliban is denying Bin Laden had anything to do with 9/11 because they have a shared ideology with what he represented. And, to deny that they do suggests you know absolutely nothing of how the terrorist movement is evolving... or how it originated for that matter.
