States that cut $300/week unemployment didn’t get people back to work

It did however cause a 20% decrease in spending. Resulting in a 2 billion dollar loss.

Huh, imagine that!

Give people a wage they can live with, they'll happily come to work. The reason why many are salty about this kind of measure, is that it'll raise the bar of how little you can get away with paying someone before losing them. That's at the least the idea I'm getting from this all.

@MethDozer fortunately I have a 20-25 minute drive these days when I'm in the office. You are correct about the commute though. Did that for too many years

@TrunkZ That's incredible down there. You should play the lottery

@MethDozer lol, the payout isn't high enough 🤣🤣🤣

When they get hungry enough they will get off the couch and go back to work.

@ron122 The problem. Is most likely they all thought their job was waiting for them or would he and got woken up to you got to work at Subway now. But oh well they're paying $18 hour so quit complaining you been demoted.

The Black Plague ensured better wages in Europe because there were fewer qualified people who had to make a fair living, so employers were forced to raise wages to meet demand.

It's happening again, and rightly so. What we put off will get rectified one way or the other.

This is a war-. The US working class is the enemy of the job creators.

@Stopmakingsense few know this

I have no idea what these people who won't work think they are going to do or get when they HAVE to go to work.

@NoahB Come on tell me I am wrong.
NoahB · 31-35, M
@MethDozer I think you’re wrong about this for a lot of reasons
MethDozer · M
@NoahB man I respect you so I'm listening.

Shit I even support UBI, but this free unemployment is past the point of need or sense. The covid boogeyman is over ffs.
