@Grvstu I’m guessing you [b]forgot[/b] who initially sent troops into Afghanistan in response to 9/11 ? He also sent troops into Iraq. I’m not certain what the initial plan was—how long were we going to stay there, and what were we even there to accomplish ? Our people were not meant to stay there indefinitely. But once Osama bin Laden was dead, why else were we over there ?

@bijouxbroussard To play's devil's advocate, Bin Laden was never proven guilty in court. Any jurisprudence would really have suggested capture the criminal and make him face trial. Let all laws involving International Law play. You can't complain about terrorists who take justice into their own hands and then forgo those basic elements.

But that is one thing America does again and again.

@bijouxbroussard I may be one of the few who feels Biden is doing what he can with a commitment to pull out. Laws will apply here, if there are people hanging off of your jet, looking in desperation to get out, you can't fly. That's not something that can be moved, or changed.

The situation? Hindsight says, America should have never involved itself the way it has there.
