@Pitchblue Us remaining in Kabul takes the wind out of their legitimacy. They want us to leave as expediently as possible. Killing or capturing Americans is a great way to guarantee we won't.

If that were the case, they wouldn't be interfering with our current efforts.
@sunsporter1649 Sporty, you signing up to reinvade Afghanistan? And I don't remember you complaining when the last administration dragged their feet on Afghan visas even as they signed the agreement to leave.
@QuixoticSoul LOL, your response to solving the screw-up over there is to blame President Trump? Typical left-wing nut jobs, no solutions to anything, not able to take responsibility for anything, just more and more bullschiff
@sunsporter1649 Trump left us in this mess, sporty - if you weren't such a partisan weirdo, you'd grasp this basic reality.
My response to solving the screw up over there is to accept that Afghans are totally screwed - between Trump, the ANA, and in many cases, their own apathy - they're screwed. There are no good solutions, they picked the wrong side.
@QuixoticSoul You really believe President Trump would have left the country, leaving behind billions in equipment, 10,000 American citizens, and tens of thousands of others who supported the efforts of the American people? You folks are really sick
@sunsporter1649 Of course he would. The troop pullout and most of the equipment handover even happened during his term - though we've been leaving materiel for the ANA for the last twenty years, not sure why you're complaining about that.
Don't worry, we won't leave any American citizens behind. The Afghans - well, you can see how much he cared.
