I doubt there is a European nation that can fight a serious war.

Specially in the western part

Tbh that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This may come as a shock but you know war is actually a bad thing. War isn't really something that anyone should aspire to; it is the culmination of a supreme failure to communicate and it is a waste of time and resources.

And the ultimate shame of war is that those that want them to happen most are seldom ever the ones who actually end up bleeding.

@Eternity And when war comes to you?

@Bados as anyone who has ever fought for their life will tell you, the kind of fight you can put up when your back is against the wall is in a whole different league than the fight you put up when you're fighting for petty reasons like pride or greed.

The reason why the US hasn't, decisively or otherwise, won a single war since ww2 is for this very reason: you will lose any war that you don't absolutely have to fight. Why? Because when you fight for fun your opponent is always someone who is fighting for survival; their motivation is greater than yours and so they are willing to fight for longer and to make more sacrifices than you are.

When war comes to you you are always ready because you have to be. There is no alternative. So it really doesn't pay to base your whole lifestyle around it unless your goal is not to defend yourself, but to oppress others.

@Eternity All of that is pointless since europe is a continent of old men and old men dont fight wars.

@Bados you keep bringing this back to offensive capability lol. One track mind eh? Old men sure will fight wars...if they have to.

They tend to not though because war isn't a wise choice and old men are typically wiser than young ones.
