How could this have been prevented? Staying indefinitely, using taxpayer money to pay for the Afghan government and it's military indefinitely?
How could the US prevent the Afghan military who were trained for 20 years and left with billions in military equipment from running and leaving all that equipment to the Taliban?

We should have sent Lorena Bobbitt to Afghanistan to teach Afghan women how to defend themselves against the Taliban.
WOMENS' RIGHTS. THAT should have been at the top of the list of our goals.
