This is a question for SW members who live outside of the US

What is your country's COVID vaccine status? Is it a political issue? Are the citizens divided on whether to get the vaccine or not?

Currently here 85% of adults have both doses 77% one dose. Roll out to 16/17 year old just started

Those figures show it isn't a major political issue but there is some anti vax anger as from September you may have to prove your status to enter some venues

100% divided. They are going to start issuing vaccine passports within the next 2 weeks which you'll need to access non essential services and there's already been a lot of protests against it.

It seems to be an issue here in the US. I get asked all the time why I'm still wearing my mask.
Yes, we’re still divided, alas. Some people have indeed made it a “freedom” and political issue here, unfortunately. The rest of us see it as a health issue and are simply trying to survive this pandemic.

@bijouxbroussard Seems to be the same across the world

We have vaccine passports here. We have a high vaccination rate but we still have anti-vaxxer’s.

I am vaccinated, I didn’t think twice about it.
