Are "the base" just simple and good hearted folks...

They were stoic and brain dead when 600,000+ Americans died from COVID and now they are up-in-arms about the Hidin' Insurrectionist Baby-trump inspired Afghanistan withdrawal... until the refugees approach American airspace en masse.

Isn't "the base" they just wonderful?
