What I find deplorable is that when tRump banned immigration from Muslim countries right after his Inauguration, all the Republitards were "Murica Fuck Yeah!" and now they want to "save the Afghanis from the evil Taliban", are they prepared to accept a few hundred thousand Afghani immigrants? I doubt it...

@spjennifer
370M shots already given, doesn't include the anti-vaxxers
Well, anti-vaxxers didn't get the shot, so obviously they are not included in the count.

Not sure of they counted all the dead people that voted for Joe.

@Budwick Oh yes, of course, all the dead people, and the ghosts, the resurrected, faeries and pixies too, mustn't forget any of them! 😆

@MarineBob There's no housing shortage.

If Hidin' Insurrectionist Baby-trump and his cronies had their way, the withdrawal would have been swifter with no regard for human life whatsoever. This is based on their own words before and after the withdrawal but before they started pulling down their credit-taking for "forcing" the withdrawal to take place as they now criticise the withdrawal as being thoughtless. In this way, they self-proclaim themselves as thoughtful winners.

Under Trump the Taliban were given concessions favorable to them. Under Trump lots of expensive modern military equipment was brought in that ended up in the hands of the Taliban. Under Trump a poor and unrealistic withdrawal scenario was created that was then passed on to the Biden administration.

@SnowBlack All true - but every single administration has mismanaged Afghanistan - including this one. At least we’re out.
SnowBlack · 18-21, F
@QuixoticSoul I applaud the withdrawal. It's just a shame that so much equipment is now owned by the Taliban. They could launch a war with it, and western Pakistan would be their target.
Budwick · 70-79, M
I have no issue with the withdrawal.
I'm no military expert but I think I would have brought out US diplomats, families, workers and Afghans that earned their ticket, BEFORE taking out the military.

But, that's just me.
carpediem · 61-69, M
Orderly withdrawal. Not "drop your weapons, run like HELL, everyone for themselves we're OUTTA HERE".
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
Pulling out will be tragic and costly and embarrassing-. It's how the military designs wars. Difficult to end.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
But trump listened to the pentagon
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@MarineBob When was that? tRump knew better than the Generals didn't he? he didn't listen to the Intelligence agencies either.
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer When has he listened to anyone about anything? Even Giuliani, his biggest sycophant.
