Btw, not all critics of Israel are anti-Semitic or want Israel destroyed. Some just want them to change some of their policies. Some critics are actually Jewish, too.

@bijouxbroussard As long as they don't want Israel destroyed.
It's perfectly healthy to say "I hate what Netanyahu is doing but I support a two state solution."
Most people on the left have this tendency to say "It would just be so nice if Israel just didn't exist." When you admit that as part of your argument, I fail to see how you don't want Israel destroyed. 🤷♂️

That’s you claiming that. Doesn’t make it true. I don’t know anyone “on the left” who thinks it would be “nice” if Israel “didn’t exist”. It was a bunch of right-wingers who tried to eliminate Jewish people in the first place.

@MickRogers I'm pro-Israel but anti-Netanyahu, settler and Likud

@bijouxbroussard oh I can promise you, I am not the one making that argument:

@MickRogers Reddit ? Really ? And someone’s been appointed spokesperson for all liberals ? I guess I don’t have to ask individual conservatives what they think, either; just read comments on Reddit.
@MickRogers I take it that you have the conviction that Israel has been a positive contribution to the Palestinian region with the way that you're talking about it
