No Respect: US Athlete Raven Saunders Risks Losing Medal After Flaunting Olympic Rules with Her Political Protest at Medal Ceremony

Saunders said afterwards that the “X gesture” represented “the intersection where all oppressed people meet.” She’s a victim.

She now risks losing a medal. What we do know is that if this is allowed we will now have to endure years of woke athletes parading on the medals stand.

I'm ok with that. The Olympics is not the proper avenue to voice you political grievances. All it does is steal the spotlight from the athletes who, through dedication and hard work, have earned their moment of glory. I have no problem with people demonstrating for their beliefs, but they need to do it on their own time.
I imagine those who are ok with these displays would feel different if it was white supremacists or nazis making these gestures. That's why it should just be banned straight across the board.
