Holy crap! How is it this hard for you people to understand how vaccines work?
It's not a question of "Well, [i]I[/i] got [i]my[/i] vaccine, so [i]I'm[/i] safe." That kind of thinking speaks to the childish self-centeredness common in so many people on the right. And it completely ignores how vaccination actually works.
In order to achieve herd immunity by means of vaccination, we need between 70 and 80% of people to be vaccinated. It's not that hard, folks. Millions of people have died, and we have a solution, but you people refuse it, thinking your decision only affects you. If that were the case, nobody would be arguing with you over the effectiveness of the vaccine. They would just let you die, and be grateful to you for strengthening our gene pool.
