Government at it's worse -- the A10 Warthog survives despite being outdated (40 years) and duplicative.

@Human1000 The Apache is almost as old as the A10 as it first flew in 1975 so it's no spring chicken either and will need to be replaced soon too... These old warriors are not designed for the modern day battlefield but that's not what we've been fighting against either.

@CantExplain Agreed but it doesn't have the weapons load of an A10C, nor the loitering capability.

@spjennifer I had an A-10 buzz me from behind while I was driving once on a long stretch of road in rural Kansas. I didn’t hear it it was on top me…SURPRISE!! I figured the pilot was doing a little practicing.
