Remember when Mitt Romney said Donald Trump will change America with 'trickle-down racism'?

And now Trump is meeting with Mitt Romney this weekend to discuss governing and possible Cabinet post. The normalization of Trump steams ahead. All of my life I wondered how it was possible for a man like Adolph Hitler to rise to power. It felt impossible. But watching how people in this country just refusing to acknowledge what is going on around them, I now understand. Silence is agreement. Non-action is acquiescence.

I agree he's just an updated richer version of Hitler.. 😄

I was descending an escalator today and thought of that scene when Trump announced his candidacy, when he and his wide came down an escalator. Then I wondered if decades from now that would be some iconic scene, sort of like the one shown a lot with Hitler in a car with saluting crowds in the foreground where it looks like he is flying or floating along fast.

Well, I did not vote for him. The only hope is he will overreach or still behave like an ass, and the opposition will finally come out to vote in two years and the GOP will lose more seats, and maybe even the Senate. I love now how annoyed they are with all the opposition. Poor babies. If they cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen!

Or stop being asses and start respecting people and having good policies!

@JoyfulSilence: there's always one..That's twice today..in my opinion if he'that great why do they feel the need to defend him, they could just sit back and watch him prove us wrong....not...lol
Livinkarma · 51-55, M
I don't post for someone to agree with me lol I posted it twice by accident... I don't give a fuck with it he's here or not it's just what I feel I don't need his fucking support
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Livinkarma: you've made your point...

What would be weird is if Trump moderates himself and compromises. Then his base will revolt! I would love to see a GOP civil war. Trump already wants to spend on infrastructure and retain some of Obamacare. I read an article where Democrats are trying to figure out those things where they agree with Trump, and then figure out which of these things his base do NOT support, and see if they can push for those! They want to split Trump from his base! LOL!

@JoyfulSilence: well the world will see in the coming year his intentions..
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
Yes, follow his actions. One cannot follow his words because he lies and changes them so often.
Livinkarma · 51-55, M
Obama was a little bitch... We will see
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@JoyfulSilence: people will see him for what he is...especially if they can't keep his personal opinions under control...lol
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
The problem is his opinions change so much.
Livinkarma · 51-55, M
If he sticks on goals ... Well done
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@JoyfulSilence: well their already having to reign him in on some of his promises he made in his campaign because he cant carry them through.. the stupid wall idea for one..
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
I knew the GOP in Congress would not want to pay for it.
