Remember when Mitt Romney said Donald Trump will change America with 'trickle-down racism'?

And now Trump is meeting with Mitt Romney this weekend to discuss governing and possible Cabinet post. The normalization of Trump steams ahead. All of my life I wondered how it was possible for a man like Adolph Hitler to rise to power. It felt impossible. But watching how people in this country just refusing to acknowledge what is going on around them, I now understand. Silence is agreement. Non-action is acquiescence.

Tell frightened people that they are entitled to everything and "others" have taken what is rightfully theirs, then just sit back and watch". And I've already come to the conclusion that the people who don't recognize that Trump's a racist from the various things he's said and done over the last forty years are either abysmally ignorant or racist themselves and in denial. Those are the only possibilities, as far as I'm concerned.

People feel like they're in an emergency situation, and they're RIGHT. That's why so many people are outraged and protesting the election.
