“God Bless Abortions”

Leftist Group Drapes “God Bless Abortions” Over 65 Foot Christ of Ozarks Statue – Plan on Selling T-Shirts with Same Message

A far left activist group draped a “God bless abortions” sign over the 65-foot tall Christ of the Ozarks Statue in Eureka, Arkansas this week.

The group is so proud of their stunt that they are selling T-shirts to commemorate the event.

Today abortion is a rallying cry and a sacrament to the left.

Via Indecline.

The renegade Activist Art Collective, INDECLINE has unveiled its latest piece of protest art directly on top of the iconic 65 foot tall Christ of the Ozarks monument in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The heavy duty cloth banner carrying the message, spans 44 feet, weighs over 50 pounds and is equipped with locking mechanisms and pulleys. Last night, it was transported through the nearby woods, smuggled onto the property by a small team disguised as a construction crew and strung up just before sunrise. This is not the first project the collective has unveiled pertaining to this issue and it is unlikely to be the last.

The depths of far left depravity is staggering.
Celebrating abortion is about as sick as you can get.

I’m definitely pro-choice and at first upon seeing this I was a little shocked. Upon further reflection I thought it more about offending religious dogma than the act of termination itself. So it was a statement to get a reaction, which obviously, it did.

@LilithoftheTrees It’s in poor taste, but the pro-life folks are pretty depraved and offensive themselves.
@Fukfacewillie I agree it’s in poor taste. I would add, I am not American and it’s legal in my country so how I personally feel about women making choices about what to do with their reproductive rights is satisfying as far as my country and it’s laws are concerned.

Really?
What do those pro-life bastards do that is so offensive?
Take their children to church?

Garden variety, every day pro-lifers do none of those things.
They may express their opinions, maybe publish, maybe protest, maybe simply not have an abortion.

Garden variety, every day pro-choicers have their children murdered, to the tune of 3,000 - 4,000 every day.

@Budwick I kinda like your quasi-agreement with my quote, but the numbers seem to be your issue. That being said, the disingenuous laws much have been passed by someone. And you refer to "murder" here, which is fine, but usually murder comes with prison.

FYI, I'm fine with someone being against abortion. And I don't think abortions will stop once they are illegal in red states. People with money will still get them by going to a blue state. Others will get more desperate...
@Fukfacewillie I’m not sure about America but I know that here, before it was legal young women were mutilating themselves with coat hangers, committing suicide and doing all sorts of atrocious things to get rid of unwanted pregnancies. Now within a certain time frame, they can have the fetus terminated, get counseling and education on better contraception. The long term effects and awareness has had a positive effect on society as a whole. It’s not a pleasant experience for young women, it’s traumatic and emotionally taxing, so having it done in a safe environment by professionals who can guide them to better choices in the future was a prudent decision from our government and one which I fully support. Much better than a backyard seedy and dirty unsafe environment for a 15 year old girl who has made a terrible mistake and doesn’t want a child for example.

Let me be clear - I do not agree with any of what you said.

That being said, the disingenuous laws much have been passed by someone.

That sentence makes no sense.

Murder is NOT fine. And you're right, murder of unborn children was legalized. It's called abortion, the topic of this thread. So, those involved in taking the lives of unborn babies are not punished.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Budwick It's just as much "murder" as tearing down a brick wall is the same as tearing down a house.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 Your analogy, or is it a metaphor, wait a comparison?
Anyway - makes no sense at all.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Budwick Ofcourse it makes sense... you are just to pigheaded to get it Budwick.

Murder, is the deliberate killing of a human being by another.

But with abortion, you just kill a human being under construction. It's not a human being yet. Just like a wall isn't a house yet. But people like you respect all these phases before human beings actually come into excistence, if you are consistent you should respect every brick wall because one day, it might be someones' house.
@Kwek00 I think it’s ok for people to be against it on a personal basis but the reality is that a bunch of geriatric men have little to do with a young woman having to take care of an unwanted child for the rest of her life.

1. Which means other do.

2. Laws that purport to do one thing for legal cover, but really do another, are disingenuous.

3. If abortion is murder, most pro-lifers would advocate mandatory life sentences. They don't.

Who are you kidding, a lot of these people believe in the death penalty.

@LilithoftheTrees

We are about to have our landmark legal abortion decision, Roe v. Wade, overturned. Most likely, each state will be able to decide whether to make abortion illegal. Possibly abortion will be deemed illegal country wide, but if that were to happen our Supreme Court will lose all legitimacy. It barely has any left.

Abortions will still occur, and young poor women will die. Naturally, Republicans are indifferent to this because they are morally depraved human beings.

@Kwek00 Perhaps, but you don't hear it much. Trump even walked back his comment that women should be punished, but he was actually being logical.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Fukfacewillie Just depends on his underlieing premisses. I don't know about trumps remark, I've not heared that one. Last time I listened to him I learned that windmills were destroying our oceans. People clapped.
