Air strikes in Iraq & Syria

I was surprised to learn of the air strikes that the U.S. (Biden Administration) let commence against militia targets in these two countries.
Three words I hope they gave thought to along with other considerations before letting this operation go forward. 1. Quagmire 2. Exit 3. Strategy.
So are we potentially facing a quagmire and will we have an Exit Strategy?[image deleted]

Seems strange.. we hung Saddam like a dog, created the power vacuum, and instilled a puppet government.. yet they’re still not behaving?
