yep. plus that graph isn't even of actual crime. just perceived crime rates. its very intentionally made to look like actual crime though imo. i've attached a link to actual data of crimes from the same statistics source here
@Viper you're both correct. but it being flipped backward, at a glance, would indicate a trend of 'rising crime' to most people. which i believe is the intent of flipping the graph

The sad thing is, without the original source, I can't even trust that this graph was prevented this way on live tv. Too easy to fake in order to disparage the network, but also something that could have really happened.
