Nope. More batshit nuttiness from the environmental virtue signalers. Speaking of the environment - someone on this thread points out the issues related to mining minerals required for batteries and what to do with dead batteries. And then there's the high costs of converting postal garages and vehicles.......I guess the virtue signalers are too stupid to even imagine such issues.....PC dance therapy is more their wavelength.

@theAlchemist Their fleet of vehicles is horribly outdated and inefficient. It has nothing to do with PC bullshit. Something is old and needs to be improved. So why not do it. It makes the institution more effective at doing their job.

@BlueMetalChick So then, buy new vehicles. They also use semi trucks for hauling large volumes of mail over long distances. Electric semi trucks? Sounds very expensive and impractical.

@theAlchemist Honestly, the biggest problem is just how underfunded they are. The post office is barely hanging on cos we keep slashing their budget. They probably wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for that.
