Hunter Biden uses the N word

Hunter Biden used the N word repeatedly in an email to his lawyer. Like father like son I guess. Now we know who the real racists are

why is it ok for blacks/negroes/coloreds to use it??
how many millions of times have you heard in music, rap, movies, etc and it was acceptable?? but not whitey cracker??
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@1490wayb Think about it.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@1490wayb Because they turned a derogatory term into a colloquial one that's used as a term of endearment or for jokes/solidarity. It doesn't have the same connotation as when someone of another race uses it as it's questionable.

Also "coloreds" isn't a term thats okay to say anymore.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
@QuixoticSoul for me it should be derogatory or acceptable. cant have it both ways
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@1490wayb I get what your logic is but words change meaning over time due to historical and cultural context. The context matters, a lot of words we use have different meanings and connotations due to this.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@1490wayb You didn’t think about it very hard.
@1490wayb Double standard
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@stratosranger Yes, and it's one that makes sense.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@stratosranger If I call you a slut it doesn't exactly mean much to you because you're a man.
@Ryannnnnn It makes sense to you maybe. To me a double standard is a double standard. It’s hypocrisy plain and simple
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@stratosranger Without applying nuance and appropriate context that approach just misses what's actually going on in front of you.
@Ryannnnnn And it can be justified 5,000 times over but it’s still hypocrisy to me.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@stratosranger If you understood the nuance you'd probably reconsider your position in the future.
I’m not interested in whatever nuance or justification is presented. A double standard is a double standard. The line is drawn for me and that’s that. @Ryannnnnn
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@stratosranger That's such pigheaded thinking though. Of course there are double standards in life. Some of them are bad and some of them are contextual in how they relate to the reality we live in.

A black person saying the n word is not the same as another race saying it. It is a double standard but that's because it makes sense. Being against all double standards is willfully ignoring the reality of them.

I appreciate you don't like them as most people don't but ones such as these are obvious and sensical.
Are you one of those people that needs to get in the last word? Just feel free. I don’t. care about your justifications or whatever explanations you’re trying to sell. I have said repeatedly I am not interested and yet you keep on trying to sell me some line of BS. Again, not interested. A double standard is a double standard. End of story, Feel free to type more justifications for hypocrisy, I will not read it. There will be no further response. So don’t waste your time. @Ryannnnnn

@stratosranger I thought you'd be open to a discussion seeming as you decided to start talking to me in the first place bud. If you don't wanna talk about things then don't post on a public forum.

If you wanna consider what I say to be BS then that's your prerogative but I just see that you're missing an important part of perspective and thought you might benefit from some information. I don't care whether you agree or disagree at the end of the day. Just feels like you're putting your fingers in your ears because you've already made your mind up.

Have a good night anyway bud.
